In just a few weeks, President-elect Donald Trump will return to the White House where he has promised to roll out the largest deportation of immigrants in history no matter the cost. 

According to our conservative estimates, mass deportations could cost Americans $88 billion annually with a total cost of nearly one trillion dollars over nearly a decade. Besides the economic cost, it could have a devastating impact on 28 million people in households and U.S. communities across the country. 

While the government currently lacks the resources to implement much of this harmful proposal, Trump will be working with Republican majorities in Congress. This means that, though we’ll continue to oppose these radical and dangerous policies, the cards are stacked against us and our immigrant communities.  

Before Trump has a chance to put his plan into action, we need to make sure we use every day to delay mass deportation and protect as many immigrants as possible. Help us to pressure the Biden administration to take immediate protective measures before Trump takes office.
